TASK 2:
IDEAS
Add evidence of the following into your webpage with a heading of IDEAS:
– Collaborate with your group members to brainstorm ideas for the skills Edison needs to gain.
– When you have some ideas flowing, draw a mud map on the whiteboard and explain your thoughts with annotation. Link each idea to a skills Edison is gaining.

– Now that you have your 6 skills mapped out, collaborate with your group to brainstorm ideas for the 6 resources Edison is to gain. Each resource should add to Edison’s story and assist him in his journey.

TASK 3:
DEVELOPMENT
Add evidence of the following into your webpage with a heading of DEVELOPMENT:
– Use the S.C.A.M.P.E.R. technique to develop your ideas.
Each time you use a scamper acronym, identify it clearly on your mud map.
When you have found a way to meet each acronym, add a table into your webpage and explain what you did for each point.

Substitute: Take something out and add something else in its place. Like taking a ramp and substituting it for a tunnel.

Combine: Take two ideas and mash them together to make one concept. Like putting the tunnel inside/under the ramp.

Adapt: Adapt one idea to meet a different purpose. For example, a different skill or resource

Modify: Take one idea and modify it to do something different. Like making a ramp that Edison goes down into a set of stairs that Edison hops down.

Put to another use: Take an idea and put it to work in another way. Like turning the ramp upside down and using it as a seesaw.

Eliminate: Take one concept out of your obstacle course all together. This could be an obstacle course section or one skill or one resource.

Reverse: Make Edison do a part of the course backwards to how it was originally planned.

TASK 4:
PRODUCTION OF OBSTACLE COURSE
Add evidence of the following into your webpage with a heading of PRODUCTION OF OBSTACLE COURSE:
– When you have finished the planning stage you can start to make your obstacle course.
– Use the whiteboard, whiteboard markers, cardboard, tape, LEGO, paper and any other approved items (ask your teacher) to make your obstacle course to plan.

– Take a photo of your finished product and add it to your webpage with an evaluation on your groups progress including answers to the following questions:
Q/ What went well with your experience of building the obstacle course as a team?
Q/ What could have gone better?
Q/ If you had more time and/or more resources, what would you do differently?
